Wanda, I do the same thing from my back yard, every day the sunset will look different. I love the difference between your two pictures, the second one looks a little dramatic.
Hi Wanda, I finally found you again. My computer crashed and I lost everyone's URL so I had to go back to find a comment from you so I could track you down! I have not forgotten you! Now I have to track you down on Facebook. Send me your last name again so I can find you.
I hope that you are doing well. I saw that you burned your fingers! OUCH! I hope they are healing well now.
Okay read about the fingers and that is one cool sky and really looks different. So sorry about the grass. We are closer to normal this year except for the humidity, which we had a lot of, and they (the city) aren't mowing the grass on our green belt so it is very nose itching and running time of the year.
You're right - it's amazing how different one day is from the next. You could probably take a picture of that tree everyday for a year and never come out with the same shot.
Are you sure you didn't go outside with your watercolor paints and start swirling around your brush in the air on a windy day to paint the sky in such wonderful colors of the evening sky?
I love "being"! Being a wife and mother, being a grandma of nine and great grandma of two. Being a reader, writer and watercolor artist. I love being a visitor to the elderly, the "Cookie Lady" to the young and old. I love being a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen or the giver of a prayer. I love life and I love to laugh. I love a good story, and a far side joke. I'm so glad I was created a "human being".

Great post, Wanda. It's a good idea to compare the sky at different dates and times of the day. I need to do that too :-))) Have a great weekend.
Oh YES what a difference a day makes not only in these wonderful cloud captures of yours but in life itself! This I know for sure!
I love the red sky photo. Well I love them both but prefer the red one. Thanks for showing me the other coast.
I love watching the evening skies in summer. Cool late afternoon breeze, subdued lighting, a chair to relax in and maybe a friend or two for company.
This almost makes me want cooler weather. Absolutely gorgeous!
The sky in your photo is gorgeous!
